so basically today i finished the front page. and im actually updating my neocities. all. rejoice! im going to add a background to all of these individual pages its just like. i have a lot of drawing to do in my future. for that to happen. im actually having a lot of fun with this whole coding thing! i hardly understand css and html like. i kind of get the important parts. but my website like making sense to screenreaders. doubtful. im working on it. mobile. its a completely lost cause. if you arent on a computer thats like. as big as mine. sorry. thanks for getting this far.
the last update. was actually 6/10 but im going to leave it like that. anyways i had the title page in aa grid layout for a little bit and i think i made a big mistake. because it worked in some browsers but i think the problem was like a minor syntax error that chromium picked up on and whatever firefox and safari have going on overlooked. so that was bad but the starting page is totally doneee so these pages r gonna start looking normal soon!
who am i. what am i. what is happening. i tihnk i broke it. for real this time. im just like in the void now. i added a stand-in bg image for the home page. and i think its like really over this time like i really broke it. on the live preview + in my browser. yeah. it works. update my neocities. inspect page. why isnt it showing the css i just added RELEASE ME. anyways i also changed the preview image. i think im going to add some words to it or something soon tho b/c i want it to kind of match the initial starting page better aside from just having the same art. anyways i also uhhhhhhh. i dont know i did a lot of stuff today.
having a job is draining all my freaking energy that i need to UPDATE MY NEOCITIES with !!! its gen twisted but anyways today i uploaded background images for all the pages i just havent added the content to them yet. i dont know if all of my website is going to be a like personal website personal website where i just talk about myself. like its personal as in mine but i dont want the theme to be me. i think id rather it be something cooler like an arg or like abt a game or something. i just dont have many ideas 4 that sort of thing atm. but maybe one day soon i will.
im like a machine. neighborhood page. has things on it. i think for a lot of the website like once i get thru the like painted segments itll probably look like a pretty normal website. like less detailed layouts and more like .squareness. but i think i want to also like continue to have my like flair and . aesthetic leanings. shown in those pages. like a lot of layers. idk thats gonna take a long time.

next. really disturbing. i turned it off now. anywayyyyss i added a text typing effect on the intro bit based off of this youtube
video but mr doctor code used a recursive function and in my intro to
computer science class. i learnt how to make a for loop. so i did that but with a for loop. and unfortunately it wasnt working properly
on account of my like. span. class. thing. on the intro. you know. the yellow text. so it was all effed up and i was in immense pain for
like 10 minutes and thought. ok. ill ask the fuckass copilot ai. one prompt. like i use google i think ive accidentally called upon ai
many times beyond that so its like. okay fine. and the stupid freaking thing was coming up with. like. the stupidest solutions. like.
what the hell is a token????? so i was like. ok im done with you. and used #mybrain and i actually came up with a solution! (you should look at the js on the homepage. iiii think it was quiiite ingenious!!)anyways
im obviously like against using ai like. i think there are worse things someone can do but i avoid using it and like. its just a waste.
and using it for the first time forever today kinda just cemented my view. like it rlly wanted me to like. not learn. and like i want to
learn how to code good thats why we r here. dissapointing. BUT IM REALLY GLAD THE EFFECT WORKED AND SUPER PROUD OF HOW IT TURNED OUT. also

bro i was on the grind yesterday i painted all the stuff for the home page and just got to uploading it today. it did a weird like white flash whe ntransitioning between images and i was like. ohhh its loading the hover image. becayse. the image when it hovers. its like. im changing the entire container/background image. not just the part you hover over. thats just how i did it idk. so i like. made another div beneath the background. thats just the background again. and it fixed it! so. win for me! andddd uhh yeah idk thats what i did.
you officially can scroll on some pages of my website. i realised that a long long time ago i added to the css that the body and html like elements all would have overflow hidden. but on some pages? i dont want the overflow hidden! so i fixed that and i also changed the units of the to do page text into. lkie. viewports. because i saw my site on a smaller screen and it looked effed up. oops! learn something new everyday. im going to try and add to the likes page next? i honestly just like dont know how to use the grid layout so although i have a vision i need to. hit da codecademy books. once more. so! more soon! if i were still unemployed i think things would be going better but alas. #myyob
